Maudine Ishee

Maudine Ishee, age 82, of Gulfport, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, July 06, 2013, after a brief illness.
Mrs. Ishee was born in Bastrop, LA, and was a lifelong resident of the Coast. She worked hard all of her life in retail and was a beloved Mother and Granny. She was a member of Robinwood Baptist Church in Saucier. She enjoyed quilting, embroidery, cooking, gardening, and spending time with her family. She especially cherished the time when she looked after her grandchildren.
Mom, Mother, Granny, from the time each of us were born you walked through life with us. You encompassed us with your love and your arms wrapped us in security. Gifts of your love heal our hearts and your wisdom lights our souls. Rest easy now, Dear Mother's Heart, your love lives on in each of us. Life's journey now completed, God has set your beautiful spirit free to live with him for eternity.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Bessie McWilliams, and an infant son.
She is survived by her children, Clyde Ishee (Donnie), Minnie Madison (Daniel), Glenn Ishee (Suzanne), Virgil Ishee (Pam), Earl Ishee (Lisa), Rickie Ishee (Vicky), Randy Ishee, Michael Ishee (Linda); 30 grandchildren and 45 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 8, 2013, at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport, from 9:30 am until service time at 11:30 am Burial will follow at Free Church of God Cemetery.
