Mattie F. Lambert, age 93, of vancleave went to sleep in Jesus on Wednesday, December 19, 2012 in Vancleave.
Mrs. Lambert was born in Hattiesburg, MS on April 1, 1919 to the late Patrick Porter Donegan and Launa Manning Donegan. Mrs. Lambert was a charter member of 79 years of the Gulf Coast Seventh Day Adventist Church in Biloxi.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Thomas J. Lambert; son, Jerry D. Lambert; and her 7 siblings.
Survivors include her 3 children, Ellen Winborne (Ed), Tommy M. Lambert (Betty), and Billy G. Lambert (Mickey); 9 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and 8 great-great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, December 23 at the Gulf Coast Seventh Day Adventist Church, 13301 Highway 67 in Biloxi. Burial will take place at a later date at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens in Gulfport.
