Mattie Jones, age 82, of Pass Christian, passed away on August 20, 2017.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Tom E. Wilson and James L. Jones; her 2 children, Danny Wilson and Melissa Holliman; and a brother, Floyd Bailey.
Survivors include her siblings, Sara (Hugh) Barnes, Jean (Bud) McEwen, Cecil Bailey, and Johnny (Debbie) Bailey; 5 grandchildren, Ronnie (Jen) Holliman, Jr., Monica Ross, Brian (Faith) Wilson, Samantha (Drew) Livings, and Cory (Jeff) Wendling; 10 great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
Mrs. Jones was an active member of Highland Baptist Church and she was employed at Stuff Shirt Garment Factory for many years. She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, August 29, 2017, from 5 - 7 pm at Highland Baptist Church, 8400 Firetower Road, Pass Christian, MS 39571. A graveside service will be 11 am on Thursday, August 31, 2017, at Evergreen Cemetery in Sylacauga, AL.
