Mr. Matthew Wayne Covington, of age 50 of Long Beach, passed away on Sun July 11, 2021, at Memorial Hospital in Gulfport. He was a native of Wilmington, NC.
He was preceded in death by his father, Arnold Wayne Covington; and his mother, Deborah Covington.
Matthew is survived by his loving wife of 15 years, Christi Anna Covington; his daughter, Angelia Taylor (Michael); his step son, Christopher Andress; and his grandchildren, Gabriel and Penelope Taylor.
He earned a degree in Criminal Justice and was employed by GunHo Indoor Shooting Range in Pass Christian.
Matthew was an animal lover and firearm enthusiast.
A memorial service will be held from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, on Thursday, July 15, 2021, at the GunHo Indoor Shooting Range, Pass Christian, MS.
