Matt Garner

~~James Matthew Garner, (Matt) was born October 29, 1983 in Covington, LA. He departed this life on November 3, 2017 in Gulfport, Mississippi. He attended West Monroe High School and also served in the United States Navy. Matt pursued a career in telecommunications with multiple certifications and earned credentials in the tower industry. His last position was as a District Manager for a Texas based Tower Company that specialized in implementation, installation, and maintenance of telecommunication tower equipment across the south.
Matt leaves behind his wife, Amanda Keating Garner and their young son, Marcus Hoss Garner, his parents Karen Stovall of Biloxi, MS and James Garner and wife Ceseley of Frisco, TX; his sister, Summer Copeland and  husband Richard of Mandeville, LA, a brother, Grant Garner, a niece Angel Elise; Three uncles, Sam and Lou Stovall, Tom and Virginia Stovall, Logan David Stovall.
He is preceded in death by his brother Marcus Lee Garner, Maternal Grandparents, Tom and Juanita Stovall, Paternal Grandparents J.V. and Myrtle Garner.
A celebration of life will be held Sunday, November 26, 2017 at 2pm at New Zion Baptist Church in Covington, LA.
