Mary Gail Williams, age 62, passed away on Thursday, November 10, 2016.
Mrs. Williams was born in Houston, TX, and was a resident of Gulfport. She worked in the NICU as a Registered Nurse, a job she truly loved, before her retirement. She enjoyed debating subjects and spending her free time playing video games and watching comedy shows. Her family will remember her as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and daughter. That love was a strong influence on her family, and spending time with them was her favorite, especially her grandchildren. Christmas was another favorite because of the Christmas Eve family dinner and seeing the kids' faces after opening a gift that they had been wanting.
She was preceded in death by her father, Sydney D. Johnson; and her brother, Kenny Johnson.
She is survived by her husband of 44 years, John Shelby Willams of Gulfport; children, Lori Alvarado (Jesus) of Phoenix, AZ, Trina Brenot (Barry) of Gulfport, and Steven Williams of Petal; her mother, Mary Ann Mladinich of Gulfport; siblings, Sandra Councell (Eddie) of Houston, TX, and Susan Yurik of Gulfport; 10 grandchildren, Morgan, Conner, Loren, Miranda, Lilliana, Jessica, Madeline, Mackenzie, Claire, and Aaron.
The funeral service will be held on Sunday, November 13, 2016, at 1:00 p.m. at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport. Friends may visit two hours prior.
Burial will follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
