Mary Elaine Summers

Mary Elaine Summers, age 75, passed away on March 17, 2023 in Pass Christian, MS. She was born in Delhi, Louisiana to parents, Melvin  E. Wagnon and Alice M. Roberts Wagnon, and was a long time resident of Gulfport.

She previously worked as a legal secretary, and enjoyed going to church and the beach, reading, and word searches.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Paul Summers; daughter, Kimberly Hancock; brother, Melvin Wagnon; and her parents.

Left behind to cherish her memory include her two daughters, Tina Dawes and Alicia Hopkins; brothers, James Wagnon and Steve Wagnon; eight grandchildren, Sarah Gagnon, Ashley Dawes, David Dawes, Kayla Liner, Alyssa Hopkins, Harry Hopkins; and three great-grandchildren, Jasmine Gagnon, Andrew Gagnon and JoAnn Gagnon.

Visitation will be 10:00 am - 11:00 am, Thursday, March 23, 2023 at Riemann Family Funeral Home, Gulfport. Interment is at Wolf River Cemetery.
