Mary Elizabeth Strickland

Ms. Mary Elizabeth Strickland was called to heaven Sunday, September 28, 2014. Ms. Strickland was born in Mobile, AL. She was Baptist and graduated from Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College with a Licensed Practical Nursing degree. She was a nurse for the Harrison County School District for many years.
She was preceded in death by her parents Woodrow and Helen Strickland; and her brothers Alvin and Joseph Strickland.
Ms. Strickland is survived by her son Shane W. Strickland of Saucier, MS; her brother Cecil E. Strickland of Rock Island, TX; her sisters Mrs. Betty S. Reneau of Mobile, AL and Mrs. Jesse ""Elaine"" Helveston of McHenry, MS; and also her many cousins, nieces and nephews.
A service will be held on Wednesday, October 1, 2014, 2:00 p.m. at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Rd, Gulfport with a visitation beginning at 1:00 p.m... There will be a burial in Evergreen Cemetery following the funeral service. Memories may be shared at www.riemannfamily.com .
