Mary Ann Sibley, age 72, of Gulfport, passed away on Monday, January 29, 2018.
Mrs. Sibley was born in Bradley, Arkansas to John Herman and Arrie Vennie Williams Silkwood. She graduated from Gulfport High School and retired from the Harrison County District Attorney's Office, where she was instrumental in starting the Worthless Check Division.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her sisters, Dorothy Dell Cook and Margaret Elaine Smith.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Buford "Randy" Sibley; sons, Buford "Buster" Sibley (Rhose), and Steven Craig Sibley; siblings, John Derril Silkwood (Patricia), Vennie Lucille Arrington (William), Rayburne Lloyd Silkwood (Shirley), and Charles Alton Silkwood (Lynn); and her feline companions, Boo Boo and Spicy.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 3, 2018, at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. Funeral services will follow in the chapel at 3:00 p.m.
Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Humane Society of South Mississippi, 2615-25th Street, Gulfport, MS 39501, or hssm.org
