Mary A. Schuffert, age 86, passed away on May 8, 2018 in Gulfport, MS. She was a long time resident of Gulfport and Pass Christian.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank W. Schuffert, Jr.; parents, Tennille and Clarabel Kennedy; one brother; three sisters; and one granddaughter, Stacie Doyal.
She is survived by her two daughters, Sandra Mohler (David) of Gulfport; Judi S. Lipscomb (David) of Vancleave; five grandchildren, Todd Harlan (Shana) of Daphne, AL, Alicia Steward (Blake) of Ocean Springs, David Lipscomb of Long Beach, Sharron Lipscomb of Atlanta, GA, Rebekah Rainey (Darrell) of Hattiesburg; seven great-grandchildren, Zachary and Caleb Harlan of Daphne, AL, Mady and Ty Doyal of Centre, AL, Christian, Olivia, and Jacob Steward of Ocean Springs, Davan and Mallie Rainey of Hattiesburg; and a special family member, Jason Doyal of Centre, AL.
She was the one of the founding members and president of the Garden Park Hospital Auxiliary from 1984-1986. She was again president in 2000 and 2001. She was also a member of Bay Vista Baptist Church.
Visitation will be held from 9-11 AM on Monday, May 14, 2018 at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport, MS. A graveside service will be held at 1:30 PM at Biloxi National Cemetery, 400 Veterans Ave. Biloxi, MS.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to Bay Vista Baptist Church in memory of Mary A. Schuffert.
