Mary ""Helen"" Scarborough, 70, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 9, 2014.
Helen was preceded in death by her father, Ares Hoda, Sr.; mother, Katherine Cameron; brothers, A.J. Hoda, Jr. and Larry Hoda; and her sister, Marlene Daniels.
Survivors include her husband of 51 years, Oscar Scarborough; her 5 children, Bruce Scarborough (Larrinell), David Scarborough, Denise Kelly (Patrick), Denita Smith (Chris) and Rachel Deroche (Ivan); her sister, Fay Ladner (Norman); and her 13 grandchildren.
Helen's favorite time was spent playing Bingo and Hand & Foot. A special thank you is expressed to all family & friends for their thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
Visitation will be Monday, August 11 from 10:00 a.m. until the Funeral Service at 12 Noon, at Shiloh Baptist Church, 28391 Shiloh Church Road. Burial will follow at Standard Sandhill Cemetery.
