Mary Lee Payne, 80, of Gulfport, was born January 26, 1926 in Gulfport, and died on Tuesday, January 31, 2006, in Gulfport.
Mrs. Payne was preceded in death by her husband Wilborn """"Red"""" Payne; a daughter, Martha Joyce Payne; a grandaughter, Veronica Tadej; parents, Lonnie and Martha Williams; sisters, Helen Sexton, Ethel Mae Austin; brothers, Robert, Herbert, Hubert, and Prentiss Williams.
She is survived by two daughters, Margie Marble and her husband, Al of Gulfport, and Carol Tad and her husband, Ron of Geraldine, MT; two sons, Willie Payne of Gulfport, and Wayne Payne and his wife, Paula of Saucier; brother, Alfred Bill and his wife, Pat Williams of Pascagoula; grandchildren, Wayne II, Joey, Jennifer, Belinda, Sandy Ann, Ronda, Wil, Michael, Elisa, and Ben; 22 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
Mary will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 3 at 2:30 p.m. at the Salvation Army, 2019 22nd Street, Gulfport, where friends may call from 12:30p.m. to 2:30p.m.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 417 Security Square, Gulfport, MS 39507.
