Mary Barry Moore "MeeMaw" 

It is with profound sadness and broken hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved MeeMaw, Mary. On September 10, 2026, at the age of 74, Mary peacefully went home to be with her Savior. She will be remembered as a woman of steadfast faith, a generous heart, and a love for her family that knew no bounds.

Mary was born on September 18, 1951, in Biloxi, Mississippi, to Evelyn Quave Barry and Wilfred Barry, Sr. She was lovingly raised by her grandparents, Rena Moran Quave Rolkosky and Anthony Rolkosky, who played an important role in her life. Mary graduated from Biloxi High School as a proud member of the Class of 1969.

Mary began her career at the Biloxi Courthouse and went on to dedicate many years of service to the City of Biloxi. She ultimately retired from the City of Biloxi Municipal Court Department, where she served as a Deputy Court Clerk. Her commitment to her work and her community was a reflection of the dependable and caring person she was.

Mary was a faithful member of Still Waters Baptist Church in Vancleave, Mississippi. Her faith was at the heart of who she was, and she carried that faith with her throughout her life. She trusted in her Savior and found strength and comfort in Him.

Mary lived a life marked by kindness, faith, devotion, and an unwavering love for those around her. She especially treasured the time she spent with her daughter Amy, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, her siblings, her extended family, and her many dear friends. Her greatest joy was simply being surrounded by the people she loved.

Mary had a way of finding happiness in the simple things in life. She loved shopping, especially at Belk, enjoying meals at Biloxi Country Cafe with her beloved lunch bunch crew, fishing, and listening to Elvis. These cherished pastimes, along with her warm smile and loving spirit, created countless memories that will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Evelyn and Wilfred Barry, Sr.; her grandparents, Rena and Anthony Rolkosky and Patrick Quave; her son, Ricky Moore; her daughter, Laura Stapleton; her sister, Patricia Hebert Flynn; and her brother, Ronnie Hebert.

Mary leaves behind a beautiful legacy of love and faith. She is survived by her daughter, Amy Moore Williams (Douglas); her stepdaughter, Melissa Williams (Andrew); her grandchildren, Christian Moore, Alexis Williams, Pamela Fortner, Jacob Tindol, Jonathan Tindol, Jeremy Tindol, Savannah Cox (Michael), Shelby Moore, Harry Cummings, Mariah Moore, Charmaine Stapleton, Andrew Williams, Susie Williams, and Laura Williams; her precious great-grandchildren, Olivia, Eloise, Ava, Harmony, Ilayah, and Alana; her sisters, Sherry Barry Allen (Leo Sr.), Clara Barry Marinovich (Joseph), and Katherine Barry Doyle; her brother, Wilfred Barry Sr. (Sharon); and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.

Those who knew and loved Mary will forever remember her steadfast faith, generous heart, gentle spirit, and unwavering love. She had a gift for making the people around her feel loved and cared for. Her patience, wisdom, and unconditional love helped shape her family into who they are today.

We are grateful for every moment, every conversation, every laugh, and every memory we were blessed to share with Mary. Though our hearts are broken by her absence, we find comfort knowing that she is now in the presence of her Savior and reunited with those who went before her.

Until we meet again, MeeMaw. We love you and will miss you more than words can say.

Celebration of Mary's life will be held at 3:00 pm on Saturday, September 26, 2026, at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 13782 Lemoyne Blvd., West Jackson County, with visitation beginning at 2:00 pm in the funeral home chapel.
