Mary Marks

Mrs. Mary Marks, age 88, of Diamondhead, MS died on Monday, May 18, 2009 in Diamondhead.
Mary Marks loved her Lord Jesus Christ and she lived out her faith throughout her life. She approached all of her relationships in a selfless way and never ceased from seeking to help others. Her caring spirit was and continues to be an example for all who knew her.
Mrs. Marks was a charter member of Edgemont United Methodist Church in Florence, AL where she was a long-time resident until moving to Diamondhead, MS.
Mrs. Marks was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Mr. Ray Dean Marks; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. F.B. Lyle; and her sister, Ruby.
She is survived by her daughter, Peggy Williams, and her husband, John Dale; her son, Thomas Marks, and his wife, Debbie; her grandchildren, Chip Williams and his wife, Lisa, Deana Feckoury and her husband, Kevin, Kim Gridley and her husband, Tim, Kelley Williams, Lynn Lacus and her husband, David, and Jessica Marks; and her great grandchildren, Haley and Karlee Williams, Claire and Matthew Feckoury, and Jacob Lacus.
The family would like to extend a thank you to all the staff at Woodland Village in Diamondhead, MS.
Memorials may be given to Jacobs Well Baptist Church, Diamondhead, MS 39525.
The funeral service will held on Friday, May 22, 2009 at 2:00 PM at Edgemont United Methodist Church, Florence, AL where family and friends may visit from 1:00 PM until service time. Burial will follow at Greenview Memorial Park, Florence.
