Obituary

Mary Jane Marsh, age 72, passed away on April 16, 2026.

Mary was born on September 8, 1953, in Walton, New York, to James Kelly and Elizabeth Price. As a teenager, she accepted Jesus Christ as her Savior. She built a life centered on faith, family, and simple joys, always placing others before herself.

She shared 49 beautiful years of marriage with her devoted husband, Bob Marsh. Together, they created a loving home and raised a family that will carry her legacy forward. She is lovingly remembered by her children, Isaac Marsh, Hannah Salisbury (Chris), and Jonathan Marsh (Amber), and by her cherished grandchildren, Ariana Marsh, Beckham Marsh, and Ava Salisbury, who brought her endless pride and joy.

Mary was also blessed with an extended family who will miss her dearly, including her brother-in-law, Donald Marsh, and sisters-in-law, Heather Nash and Carol Marsh.

A faithful and dedicated member of Grace Baptist Church, Mary devoted over three decades of her life to Grace Baptist Academy, touching countless lives with her kindness, patience, and unwavering commitment. Her faith was the foundation of her life, and it showed in the way she cared for others.

She found joy in life’s quiet and meaningful moments, aquarium visits, spending time with her family, and her cherished Saturday outings with her dear friend, Eddie Fast. These simple pleasures brought her happiness and reflected her gentle and loving spirit.

Mary will be remembered for her warmth, her steady presence, and the deep love she had for her family and friends. Her legacy of faith, kindness, and devotion will continue to live on in all who knew and loved her.

Family and friends are warmly invited to gather in her memory for a visitation on Friday, April 24, 2026, beginning at 4:00 p.m. at Grace Baptist Church, 3707 Bienville Blvd, Ocean Springs, MS 39564. A funeral service will follow at 6:00 p.m.
