Mary anne Brown

Mrs. Mary Anne Brown, of Diamondhead, MS passed away on February 21, 2006 at Gulfport Memorial Hospital.
Mary Anne was born in Paris, Texas on December 26, 1940 and from a young age resided in New Orleans, Louisiana. She lived and raised her children in Metairie, Louisiana for 27 years and moved to Diamondhead in 2003 with her husband after they retired.
Mary Anne was a graduate of Dominican High School in New Orleans and attained her degree from Tulane University. Mary Anne cherished her family and was guided by her strong Catholic faith. She was a parishioner of St. Angela Merici Church in Metairie for 27 years. She was a member of the Diamondhead Newcomers and Diamondhead Women's Club. She was a very active woman who enjoyed gardening, cooking and playing cards. Mary Anne never fainted from a conversation or missed a good sale. She was a wonderful person with the kindest of hearts, an exceptional Mother and Grandmother. She will be dearly missed, but undoubtedly her spirit will guide us because if ever there was an angel she was and is one.
Mary Anne was preceded in death by her father Franklin Endom; her mother Mary S. Endom; her stepmother Hermine G. Endom; and her brother Donald P. Endom.
She is survived by her husband of 39 years Marvin D. Brown; her two sons, Kevin S. Brown and Patrick K. Brown; her sister Elizabeth Cook and husband Lynton (Guy) of New Orleans, her two brothers Phillip D. Endom and wife Cheryl of El Paso, TX., Franklin V. Endom, Jr., and wife Nancy of New Orleans; her step brother Findlay G. Maier, M.D. and wife Alice of Pascagoula; and one grandson Spencer M. Brown.
Visitation will be held from 9:30-11:00 a.m.., Friday, February 24, 2006 at Annunciation Catholic Church, 5370 Kiln Delisle Road in Kiln, MS, immediately followed by a mass of Christian burial. Interment will follow at Long Beach City Cemetery.
