Perkinston, MS

Mary Ann Williams, affectionately known as MAW, age 80, of Wiggins, MS, passed away peacefully, Thursday, October 16, 2025, surrounded by family. She was reunited in heaven with her beloved husband, Bill Williams; parents, Anthony and Mary Kiewlich; brothers, Anthony and Jim Kiewlich; niece, Susie Kiewlich; and friend turned family, Joe Stevens. 

Beneath her tough exterior was a heart of solid gold. She loved her family unconditionally and her actions spoke louder than any words. She faced life’s challenges head-on, with a tenacity and stubbornness that became legendary. 

Her legacy and love will live on through her son, Adam (Glynis) Williams; daughter, Kim (Mike) Howarth; grandchildren, Lauren (Steven) McGinley, Tony (Betsy) Howarth, Gary Howarth, Katie Mabb, Amelia (Dennis) Rojas; great grandchildren, Emily Mills, Gary Howarth Jr., Elijah McGinley, Owen Howarth, Mila Rojas;  her brother Tom (Kathy) Kiewlich; her nephews Scott and David Kiewlich; friends turned family, Maria Garrett, Elaine Kiewlich, Tricia Stevens; and countless other family and friends who she impacted. 

As a final testament to her lifelong love story, her ashes will be scattered at sea in the same location as her cherished husband Bill.
