Marvin ""Steve"" Stevens, 78, of Gulfport, passed away Friday, December 11, 2015 in Biloxi.
Steve was born November 18, 1937 in Evansville, Indiana and has been a resident of Gulfport for the past 19 years. Steve retired after 23 years as a Master Sergeant, First Sergeant from the U. S. Air Force.
Steve was a member of the Masonic Orange Grove Lodge #635 where he was a Master Mason; a Shriner with the Joppa Shrine Temple; the Joppa Motor Corps; A & A Scottish Rite; Grande York Rite; and a member of the AMVETS Post #1. Steve had a love for riding his motorcycle.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Yola Stevens; his 3 children, Mark Stevens (Elizabeth), Kitsaa Stevens (David) and Mitch Stevens (Suzy); 9 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren and 1 sister.
Friends are invited to join Steve's family for visitation from 12 Noon to 1:00 p.m., Friday, December 18th, with the Memorial Service to follow at 1:00 p.m., at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport. Following the service, a motorcycle procession will leave going to Biloxi National Cemetery where he will be laid to rest with full military honors.
