El servicio de la iglesia será el Viernes, 17 de Noviembre 2017 a las 11:00am en la Iglesia Católica de Sta. Julia en Austin, TX. La recepción  se llevará acabo a las 12:30pm en el salón de Sta. Julia.
Martin Cortinas Acosta was born November 21, 1958 in Austin, TX and died on October 23, 2017 in Gulfport, MS. Martin is preceded in death by his parents Lucinda Cortinas and Enrique Acosta.
Martin served as a member of the United States Army from 1979 to 1982.
Martin is survived by longtime partner Letizia Davila; sisters Irma Acosta and José Angel Reyna, and Maria Inez and Lupe Cervantes of Austin, TX; and Enriquetta and Juan Guerrero of Martindale, TX.  Brothers Moses and Elena, Silverio and Grace, and Rene and Michele of Austin, TX; Andrew of Temple, TX; and Noe of Denver, CO; and various nieces and nephews of Austin, TX.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11 am Friday, November 17, 2017, at St. Julia Catholic Church, 3010 Lyons Road, Austin, Texas, 787.02.  A reception will follow in the St. Julia Hall at 12:30 pm.
