Martha Elizabeth Tyrone, née Joullian, passed away peacefully on June 21, 2026, in Gulfport, Mississippi, at the age of 80.

Born on November 9, 1945, in Biloxi, Mississippi, Martha spent most of her life in Pascagoula, where she built a life defined by compassion, creativity, and devotion to her family. As a nurse, she dedicated her career to caring for others, offering comfort and kindness to countless patients and families throughout the years.

Martha was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Thomas D. Tyrone.

She is survived by her daughters, Diane Tyrone Mitchell and Julia Tyrone Salgado; her grandchildren, Ryan Thomas Mitchell and his wife, Samantha DelGaicco Mitchell, John David Mitchell, James Connor Mitchell, and Sophia Christina Salgado; and her siblings, Susan Joullian Smith, John F. Joullian III, and Mary Joullian Sheppard.

Martha possessed a creative spirit and a deep appreciation for the world around her. She enjoyed drawing, reading, and spending time bird watching, finding joy in both art and nature. She was an especially devoted animal lover and cherished her sun conure parrot, Bugsy, whose companionship brought her great happiness.

Those who knew Martha will remember her caring heart, her artistic nature, and the warmth she shared with family, friends, and the many people whose lives she touched. Her quiet strength, compassion, and love for others will continue to live on in the memories of those who knew and loved her.

In accordance with her wishes, no public services will be held. Her family will honor her life and memory privately.
