Martha Blethen

Martha “Shay” Sarah Blethen, 77, of Gulfport, MS, passed away on December 9, 2022. Shay was born in Laredo Texas to Fred and Dorothy Jefferies.

Shay is proceeded in death by her parents, Fred and Dorothy, and husband Daniel Blethen. She is survived by her 3 children:  Amanda (Paul) Tillman, Shannan (Michelle) Blethen, Daniel (Melinda) Blethen; her siblings:  Hardie Jefferies, James “Jeff” Jefferies, Susan Johnson, Joe Jefferies;   her grandchildren:  Deavan Blethen, Riley Blethen, Ciara Blethen, Sara Tillman, Peyton Blethen; and her great grandson Chase Blethen.

She is loved by all and will be missed.

She asked for a simple ending and will forgo a public service. Please plant a tree in her remembrance.
