Martha Barlow

Martha Dee Bahm Barlow, age 79, and a lifelong resident of Gulfport, passed away on Tuesday, March 7, 2017.
Martha Dee was preceded in death by her loving husband of fifty-one years, H. C. Barlow, Jr.; her parents, Harry Dewitt Bahm, Sr. and Elma A. "Boots" Orr Bahm; and a brother, Stanley Richard "Dickie" Bahm.
She is survived by her sons, Jon Christopher Barlow and his wife, Amy of Garner, NC, and Mark Christian Barlow and his wife, Shawn of Long Beach; her brothers, Harry D. "Toogie" Bahm, Jr. and his wife, Rosharon of McHenry, and Charles Michael Bahm and his wife, Shaunn of Gulfport; her grandchildren, Jon Christopher Barlow, Jr., Mikel Christian Barlow, Micah Sebastian Barlow, Devin Renee Byrd, Hayden Elizabeth Barlow, Abigail Christine Barlow, Owen Christian Barlow; and her great-grandchild, Melody Brees Barlow.
Martha Dee attended the University of Southern Mississippi where she earned her bachelor's degree in English and was a member of Kappa Delta Sorority. She was employed with the Pascagoula-Moss Point Bank where she worked for 18 years and retired as Vice President of the CD Department of Hancock Bank after a combined 36 years of service. She had many professional and personal friends in her life, and influenced the lives of many.
She was a longtime member of the First United Methodist Church, Gulfport.

The funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 9, 2017 at 12:30 PM at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL, 19130 Commission Road, Long Beach with a visitation for family and friends from 11:00 AM until the service. Entombment will follow at Gulf Pines Memorial Gardens.
