Marlene Kay Waltman, age 69, of Gulfport had her heavenly homecoming on Wednesday,
She was born to Phillip and Melba Hawkins on November 30, 1948 in Eureka, CA. She graduated from Eureka High School in 1967. She married her husband of almost 50 years, Joel Waltman, on June 29, 1968.
Marlene was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Sandy Whalen.
She is survived by her husband and her three children; Teresa Waltman (CW Wallis) of Gulfport, Katie Waltman of Gulfport, and Rebecca Waltman (her fiance' Miles MacElman) of Portland, OR; siblings, twin sister, Charlene Markham (Ken), Dina Butler, Melvin Hawkins, Melba Lynn Hawkins; along with many nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 2, 2018, at 1:00 PM at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Rd., Gulfport, MS, with a visitation for friends and family from 11:30 AM until the service. Burial will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery beginning at 2:00 PM with a graveside service from 2:30 PM until 2:45 PM.
