Marla Michelle Ladner

Marla Michelle Ladner, age 58, of Pass Christian, passed away on Wednesday, December 27, 2023.

Michelle is preceded in death by her father, Gordon W. Spiers; her paternal grandparents, Marshall and Mildred Spiers; and her maternal grandmother, Esther Ladner

She is survived by her husband of 33 years, Randall P. Ladner; her mother, Dorella Spiers; her children, Matthew (Brenna) Ladner and Blake (Devin) Ladner; her sisters, Melissa (Ron) Ladner and Millicent (Terry) Lee; and her grandchildren, Ryder Gordon Ladner and Stetson Reid Ladner along with numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Michelle graduated from Harrison Central High School, class of 1982  then attended Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College and The University of Southern Mississippi. She was a homemaker, loving mother, and grandmother and loved spending time with her family and camping. Michelle loved animals, especially her dog Bo. Michelle attended Sacred Heart Catholic Church Dedeaux, where she was a member.

The family would like to extend sincere gratitude to the ICU staff at Memorial Hospital in Gulfport for their kindness and compassion.  

Services  for Michelle will be held on Saturday, December 30, 2023, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church Dedeaux with visitation beginning at 10:00 AM and a Mass of Christian Burial  at noon. Interment will follow the mass at Necaise Crossing Cemetery.
