Markell A. Breland

Markell A. Breland, age 81 and a resident of Gulfport, died on Tuesday, February 4, 2014, in Jefferson, LA. He was preceded in death by his parents, Covert and Dovie (Cunningham) Breland; and siblings, Lovice Hatten, Ardith Lynch, Devon Breland, and Willence Gough.
He is survived by his loving wife Linda Breland of Gulfport, MS; brother, Myron Breland of Grand Junction, CO and his sister-in-law, Sylvia Breland of D'Iberville, MS. He is also survived by his children, Garry (Mary Beth) Breland of Hattiesburg, MS, Deborah (Harlan) Hardin and Sondra Breland of Rocky Face, GA, Sharon (Randy) Prescott of Wiggins, MS, Kim (Johnny) Hoggatt of Gulfport, MS, Sandy (Mark) Callahan of Murfreesboro, TN, Amy (Ron) Montgomery of Hattiesburg, MS, and Pam (Shane) Rodgers of Wiggins, MS; 18 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
Friends may visit the family on Friday, February 7, 2014 from 6:00pm-9:00pm and Saturday, February 8, 2014 from 10:00am-11:00am at Bel Aire Baptist Church in Gulfport. The Funeral Service will follow at 11:00am on Saturday in the church sanctuary. Burial will follow at Moore Cemetery, Highway 26 E., Wiggins, MS. RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME; Three Rivers Rd., Gulfport assisted the family with arrangements.
