Mark Hester

Mark Edward Hester passed away on Friday, November 30, 2012 at the age of 50 after a brief battle with lymphoma cancer. Loving son of Patsye E. Hester and the late Clark O. Hester. Loving partner, of 21 years, David L. Bowers. Brother of Michael Hester (Deborah) and Steven Hester (Phutchareeya). Loving uncle of Micah, Mason, Miles, Katie Hester and Michele Battiest. Brother-in-law of Docia Kenney. He was a longtime employee of Redfish Grill, with a large following of patrons and friends. He had an outgoing personality and never met a stranger. Mark will be greatly missed by his family and numerous friends. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life Service at The Elms Mansion, 3029 St. Charles Ave., New Orleans, on Sunday, December 9, 2012.
