Mark D. Hanson, age 68, of Gulfport, passed away on April 28, 2020.
He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Hanson; and a brother, Carl Hanson.
He is survived by his children, Charles Hanson (Thea) and Brian Hanson (Chrissy); his mother, Verlin Hanson; 2 sisters, Pamela Smith (Quinton) and Debra Boyd; 7 grandchildren, Logan, Blair, Brayden, McKenna, Maysa, Maralyn, and Gabby; 1 great-grandchild, Jaxton; and other relatives and friends.
He was employed at Ingalls Shipbuilding and retired after 40 years of service. Mark enjoyed hunting, fishing, and NASCAR.
A graveside service will be at 2 pm Saturday, May 2, 2020, in Woolmarket Cemetery.
