Marilyn Clare Blappert Reso

Marilyn Blappert Reso, born April 11, 1945, died peacefully in her sleep on July 23, 2023, at her home in Diamondhead, MS.

She was preceded in death by her parents Phillip A. Blappert and Emily Clare Maloney Blappert.

Marilyn is survived by her loving husband Warren Anthony Reso, Sr.; brother Phillip Blappert (Lyndell) of Slidell; and sons James Reso (Sara) of Billings, MT, Robert Reso of Azle, TX, Eddie Reso of Slidell, LA, and Tony Reso of Knoxville, TN. She is also survived by a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; her beloved and self-adopted children Jamie and Amelia Metler; and her two lifelong best friends Patsy Soniat and Sandra Patron.

Marilyn was a devout Catholic and faithful servant of Christ who dearly loved the Lord and her family. She was an active member of Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Pass Christian, MS.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, August 4, 2023, at 11:00 AM at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 9062 Kiln Delisle Rd, Pass Christian, MS. Visitation will precede the service from 9:30 AM till 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church.

The Riemann Family Funeral Home, 9113 Kiln DeLisle Road, Pass Christian is serving the family.
