Marilyn Stegall Petermann passed away December 2, 2024.
Marilyn was born in Gulfport, MS on May 10, 1936 on Mother’s Day, of which she was always proud! She graduated from Gulfport High School in 1954, and married Thomas Petermann, her “sweetie,” in January 1955.
Marilyn was predeceased by her husband of 66 years, Thomas; her daughter, Jan Woycke; her parents, Henry Clyde Stegall, Beatrice Cox Stegall, and her stepmother, Wauna Pepper Stegall; her brother, Henry Clyde Stegall Jr; and her sister, Edna Stegall Etzold.
She is survived by her children, Ava Bertrand (Ted), Thomas Petermann Jr. (Sally) and Jake Petermann; 8 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.
Visitation will be from 10:30 – 11 am on Saturday, December 14, 2024 at the Riemann Family Funeral Home, 19130 Commission Road, Long Beach. A memorial service will be held at 11 am in the chapel. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Gulfport,
The family invites you to wear red, Marilyn’s favorite color; or Saints football wear, as she was a faithful fan since the team’s inception in 1967.
