Marilyn Anne Clutts Boyd Carpenter

Marilyn Anne Clutts Boyd Carpenter, age 69, of Gulfport, passed away on Sunday, November 13, 2016, in Gulfport.
Mrs. Carpenter was born in Grenada, MS, and was a graduate of Harrison Central High School. She went to work at the age of 16 for South Central Bell and retired as an Operator Supervisor. After retirement, she enjoyed making and selling crafts. She will be remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her parents, T.W. and Gladys Clutts.
She is survived by her husband, James Gerald Carpenter, Sr.; her children, Lari-Ann O'Rourke (Eric) of Gulfport, Scott Boyd (Christi) of Gulfport, and Jody Boyd (Tara) of Jupiter, FL; sister, Wanda C. Brown (Larry) of Gulfport; her grandchildren, Heather, Justin, Coby, Tyler, Christopher, Ethan, and Dillon; her great-grandchildren, Evan and Gunner; and nephew, Chase.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 16, 2016, at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport, at 2:00 p.m. Visitation will be held one hour prior.
Burial will follow in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
