Marilyn Faye Brashier, born July 7, 1946 in Picayune, Ms. She grew up in Picayune and went on to live in various states while supporting her husband’s career. She eventually settled on the beautiful Mississippi Gulf Coast in Long Beach.
She was a dedicated homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her husband, often fishing and spending time in nature. She looked forward to visits with her grandchildren and enjoyed watching them grow.
Marilyn was a member of the First Baptist Church of Gautier. (She was always active in church throughout the years wherever she lived at that time.)
She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Jerry Brashier. Their children Kimberly Latour(Kelly) and Travis Brashier(Angie). Step daughters Robyn Tate(Kevin), Mikki Santangelo(Jimmy- deceased), her sister Linda Kay Godwin(Ed), and grandchildren, Amanda, Sunni, Kameron, Haylie, Maddie, Landry, Mackenzie, Trace and Kellan. Great grandchildren, Aubri, Adleigh, Huxley, Ella, Eli, Honor, Abi, JJ & JT. Many nieces and nephews also survive her. Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents A.U. Stockstill and Maggie Lee Jones Stockstill, her twin Marlon Ray Stockstill and her brother Clifford Stockstill.
The family wishes to express their gratitude to Brenda and her staff at Senior Oaks in Long Beach as well as Haley with Gentiva Hospice for the outstanding care provided to Marilyn during her time there.
