Mariea Thomson

Mariea 'Marlene' Thomson, age 69, of Gulfport, passed away on January 18, 2017.
Mrs. Thomson was born to John Hubert and Lula Lotee Dearing Wright. She retired from her life's work at Fresenius Medical Care Dialysis and enjoyed shopping and computer games in her spare time. She will be remembered most for her love and dedication to her career and family, especially her grandchildren whom she cherished.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Marlene is survived by her husband, Virgil K. Thomson of Gulfport; children, Kelly Mariea McRaney (Samuel) of Lizana, Patrick Jude Ruddy, Jr. (Christine) of Tolland, CT, and Brandon Stewart Dyess (Heather Ann) of Saucier; brother, John Hubert Wright, Jr.; her grandchildren, William, Julia, Scarlett, Magnus, Matthieu, Addisyn, and Brycen.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 23, 2017, at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport, from 10am-12 Noon.
Funeral services will follow at Noon in the funeral home chapel.
Burial at Biloxi National Cemetery will be private.
