Marie Parker Carter Johnston

Marie Parker Carter Johnston, 81, of Long Beach, passed away on Saturday, May 2, 2015 in Long Beach.
Mrs. Johnston was born November 24, 1933 in Gulfport. Marie retired from A&P in the early 1980's.
She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents. She was the wife of the late Albert M. Carter and of the late Edmond G. Johnston; and also preceded by two brothers, Kenneth and Lewis ""Butch"" Necaise, two children, Albert M. ""Buddy"" Carter, Jr. and JoAnn Carter Lacey Wagner and one grandchild, Daniel Carter.
She is survived by her children, Debra L. Viator and husband Dwight of Augusta, GA, and Regina Carter Hurlbert and husband Kenneth Jr. of Long Beach; and by 19 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 5th from 6 to 8 p.m. at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 19130 Commission Road, Long Beach. The funeral service will be on Wednesday, May 6th at 10 a.m. where friends may visit one hour prior. Interment will follow at Gulf Pines Memorial Gardens in Long Beach.
