Marian Thibideau

Marian Olive Thibideau, age 78, of McHenry, MS, formerly of Quincy, MI, passed away on September 13, 2016. She was born on August 31, 1938 at the Michigan University Hospital in Ann Arbor, MI.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Willard Miles Smead, Sr. and Elizabeth Clara Hicks Smead; her siblings, Marlene Smead, Margarette Elizabeth Hutchins, and Willard Miles Smead, Jr.; and her son, Thomas Arthur Thibideau.
Marian is survived by her children, Timothy Miles (Jan) Thibideau of McHenry, MS and Todd Allen (Michelle) Thibideau of Colon, MI; 9 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren, and her beloved dog, ""Abby.""
She graduated from Quincy High School, Quincy, MI in 1956 and then served 4 years in the United States Marine Corps. Marian married Terry Norman Thibideau in 1960 and later attended Northern Michigan University. After moving to the Gulf Coast, she worked from 2005 until July 2016 at IP Casino, Resort and Spa in Biloxi, MS. Her hobbies included reading books, watching classic movies, and coloring. She was of the Methodist faith and was a loving mother and grandma.
A visitation will be held on Friday, September 16, 2016 from 4:00 PM until 5:00 PM at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Rd., Gulfport.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 24, 2016 at 1:00 PM at Eagle Funeral Home - George White Chapel in Quincy, MI with a visitation for family and friends from 11:00 AM until the service. Burial will follow at Lake View Cemetery in Quincy.
