Margie Ladner Wilson, age 84, lifelong resident of Long Beach, passed away on Thursday, December 1, 2016.
Mrs. Wilson was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. & Mrs. Ervin Ladner; her husbands, Johnnie Young and H.E. Wilson; her children, Wynonia Reppond, Willian Eddie Young, Kay Young Breland, and Dolly Patterson; her siblings; Audie Ladner, Mattie Gaudet, and Jean Shaw; and her great-great grandchild, Lane Ladner.
Mrs. Wilson is survived by her children, Lou (Jimmy) Ladner and Charles (Hoss) Young Sr.; her grandchildren; Charles Young Jr., John Patrick Young, Tyrell Young, Billy Young, Eddie Joe Young, Ginger Breland, Mandie McMahon, April Patteison, Tera Breland, Crystal Ladner, and Ashley Ladner; her 27 great-grandchildren; her seven great-great grandchildren; and her siblings, Wilfred Ladner, Bobbie Revere, Melba Seller, Eula Ladner, and Versie Paige.
Mrs. Wilson was born in Poplarville to Ervin and Grace Burge Ladner. She worked as a seamstress and for Young's House Movers, where she was instrumental in establishing and helping grow the business. She was an excellent seamstress and enjoying crocheting, cooking, canning, and fishing. Her favorite thing was catering to her children and host of grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 5, 2016, at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 9113 Kiln-DeLisle Road, at 2:00 p.m. Visitation will be held one hour prior. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery at Rotten Bayou. Memories may be shared at www.riemannfamily.com
