Margie I. Rowell

Margie I. ""Nana"" Rowell, age 68, of Pass Christian, passed away on June 17, 2015.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Margie Lee Rowell, and her grandparents, Elena Arnold and Loranzy Arnold.
Survivors include her children, Shannon Ladner and Elena (Jeremy) Ladner, her father, Rudy Rowell, a brother, Jimmie (Joyce) Rowell, a sister, Geraldean (Chuck) Toler, 4 grandchildren, Brandon Ladner, Andrew Ladner, Michele Ladner, and Kaleb Ladner, 3 special nephews, Luke Toler, Adam Toler, and Rudy Toler, 2 nieces, Brandie Twilliger and Lainie Marsh, a great-niece, Sophie Toler, numerous other great-nieces and nephews, and other relatives and friends.
She was an outgoing person and loved life. Margie was raised on the gulf, shrimping with her family and especially enjoyed shopping with her sister. Mrs. Rowell had a special love for children and her puppy ""Sassy."" She worked at First Assembly of God, Gulfport, Kindergarten and daycare.
Visitation will be on Saturday, June 20, 2015, from 12 noon - 1 pm at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 19130 Commission Road, Long Beach. A funeral service will be at 1 pm in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in Gulf Pines Memorial Gardens.
