Margie Yvonne Roberson Marlow Kelly, a resident of Long Beach, passed away on August 29, 2015 in Gulfport.
Margie was born on September 24, 1934 in Merigold, MS. She graduated from Hattiesburg High School. She served in the U.S. Marine Corps from October 9, 1953 to October 8, 1956. She worked all over the United States as a civil servant, retiring at the U.S. Naval Oceanographic Office with 32 years of service. She was a major contributor in planning, designing, procuring and establishing the super computer center there.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gayle ""Tony"" Kelly, Sr; her sister, Mrs. Dot Mixon; and all other immediate family.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, September 4, 2015 at 1:00 PM at Southern Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel, Biloxi, with burial on the cemetery grounds.
