Margie Maxine Gilson

After 95 blessed years on this earth Margie "Maxine" Gilson entered her eternal Heavenly home, on November 7, 2025. She was born March 16, 1930, in Pace, MS and she was a lifelong resident of Woolmarket, Mississippi. Maxine was a member of Heritage Baptist Church and served as treasurer for seven years.

Margie "Maxine" was a mother, grandmother, great grandmother, an aunt and a friend to many. She was well loved by family and friends. Over the years she had many hobbies, she loved cooking for her family gatherings and doing the puzzles in the newspaper.

She was preceded in death by her parents Ila M. and J.T. Lamb, her children's father Ollie W. Franks Sr., and late husband Sam G. Gilson, 2 daughters Theresa Ward, Brenda Bond, and a son Ollie W. Franks Jr.

She is survived by her four children Eva Lee (Dean) Robinson, Marjorie Ladner, Deborah Albert, and Nickie (Normie) Franks. Margie "Maxine" was blessed with eleven grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren. She will be sorrowfully missed.

Visitation will be Saturday, November 15th from 1 until 2 PM at Riemann Family Funeral Home, Gulfport.  The Service will follow with burial at Coalville Cemetery.
