Margie Katherine Brandt, 93, passed away November 21, 2014 in Gulfport. She was born in Yazoo City, MS grew up in Moorhead, MS, then resided in New Jersey until she retired and moved to Gulfport, MS to be near her mother in 1980. One of her favorite things was enjoying holidays with her extended family.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Jack Brandt; parents, George M. Knapp and Ora Louise Knapp; siblings, Leslie K. Braun, Christine K. Harris, George L. Knapp, Louise K. Bishop, Montez K. Weaver; nephew, Thomas A. Jones.
She is survived by nieces and nephews, Joyce J. Meyer, Margaret Ann Rowland, Billie Foote, Gina Burrus, Ginger Sanders, Denny Weaver, Mary Katherine Johnston and Arnold K. Weaver.
A graveside service will be held Sunday, November 30, 2014 at 2:30 p.m. at Gulf Pines Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
