Margaret Elaine Smith, age 72, passed away on December 11, 2015 in Gulfport, MS.
Margaret is preceded in death by her parents. John H. and Arrie Silkwood.
Her survivors include her daughter Karen Smith of Gulfport; one grandson, Jourdan Odem of Gulfport; one great-grandson Carson Lane; sisters, Dot Cook (Curtis), Vennie Lucille Arrington (Bill), Mary Ann Sibley (Randy); brothers, Derril Silkwood (Pat), Raybourn Silkwood (Shirley), and Alton Silkwood (Lynn).
Margaret worked as a bookkeeper for many years, but the last 16 years she worked at Driftwood Nursing Home prior to getting sick. She was a loving Mother and Grandmother and loved her sisters and brothers.
There will be a Graveside Service for family and friends Friday December 18th at 1:00 pm at Finley Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for support by donating to the American Cancer Society at 417 Security Square, Gulfport, MS 39507
