Mrs. Margaret Violet Reid (91), transitioned to eternal rest on Wednesday, January 4, 2018.
She entered holy matrimony to Charles Clinton Reid on February 17, 1951 at Clark Air Force Base in the Philippines. They were married for 55 years, before he preceded her in death on May 3, 2006.
Mrs. Reid was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was an excellent cook and enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
She is survived by three daughters, Edwina (Michael) DuCré, Jennifer (Robert) Kinard, and Stacy (Doug) Travis; five grandchildren, Jason (Lauren) DuCré, Dorean (Ben) Taylor, Tiffany (Ben) Strain, Justin Travis, and Amber Travis; four great-grandchildren, Mia DuCré, Aidan Taylor, Grayson Taylor, and Mia Strain; two beloved nieces and a nephew that she helped raise, Vicki Hoffarth, Whil Harlan, and Gina Todd.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 7, 2018, from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M., at Riemann Family Funeral Home,274 Beauvoir Road, Biloxi, Mississippi 39531. Funeral service will be held on Monday, January 8, 2018, at the Biloxi National Cemetery, 400 Veterans Avenue, Biloxi, Mississippi 39531 at 9:00 A.M.
