Margaret Cumberland Noble, age 86 of Ocean Springs, passed away on Wednesday, December 17, 2025.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 58 years, Jason Noble, Sr., her parents, Welton Cumberland and Sadie Rice; her daughter, Valerie Favre; and her siblings, Juanita Douso, Lee Kurtzberg, James Cumberland and J.W. Cumberland.
Margaret is survived by her children, Deborah (Thomas) Lundy and Jason Noble, Jr., her grandchildren, Derek Dudenbostel, Tori Roberts, Bradley Davis, Ashley (Austin) Dykes, and Ryan (Ashley) Lundy; her great grandchildren, Sara Roberts, Jason Roberts, Ava Lundy, Noah Lundy, Eli Lundy, and Jackson Lundy; and her great great grandchild, Carson Roberts.
She was born in Philadelphia, MS, later moved with her family to the coast, and is a graduate of Gulfport High School. Margaret was of the Baptist faith and loved her Lord with all of her heart.
Margaret retired from Pherson Optics after a 47-year career with the company as a lead inspector. She carried that leadership quality with her at her home as well. As the ‘lead’ cook, gardener, Mawmaw and all other titles she held. She was a hero to her family, a mentor and their ‘Heart’. She loved tending to her vegetable garden, going out on the boat with family whether to go fishing or just go for a swim, she enjoyed the outdoors. She and her late husband were the best Mawmaw and Pawpaw grandchildren could hope for. She was beautiful inside and out. She was a strong and loving soul, was always there for her family when needed most. She will be forever cherished and missed every single day. We love you Mawmaw.
