Mrs. Margaret Mary (Seiter) Berger passed away from this life on Thursday morning, August 3, 2023, in Biloxi, Mississippi.

Born October 29, 1926, in Galveston, Texas, Mrs. Berger was a member of the Elks Lodge and Bethel Lutheran Church in Biloxi. Margaret enjoyed camping and traveling in their R.V. fulltime for 15 years throughout the United States and Canada, dancing and visiting family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Herman and Mary (Cook) Seiter; son, David Paul Berger, Jr.; son-in-law, Robert Perryman, sisters, Jennie Lee Rogers, Lillian Taggart, Christina Seigler; brothers, Herman Seiter, Fred Seiter, William Seiter.

Survivors include her loving husband of nearly 75 years, David Paul Berger; daughter, Darlene Perryman; daughter-in-law, Kitty Sue Berger; brother, Henry Seiter; grandchildren, Amy Victoria Foster, Megan Jo Fahey, Amanda Marie Allen; 5 great-grandchildren; numerous other relatives and friends.

Mrs. Berger was sent from Riemann Family Funeral Home, Biloxi to Hayes Funeral Home in Hitchcock, Texas for services.  Visitation with the family will be from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. with a funeral service beginning at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 9, 2023, in the chapel of Hayes Funeral Home, 10412 Highway 6, Hitchcock, Texas, with Pastor Arthur Lowe officiating. Entombment will follow at Galveston Memorial Park Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Steve Fahey, Chris Foster, John Allen, Fred Seiter, Garritt Bolton and Heath Taggart. Honorary bearers will be Stephen Shimek, Herman Seiter, III and David Rogers, Jr.
