Major John Royston Morrow, USAF Retired, age 91, of Biloxi, passed away on Friday, September 20, 2013.
Mr. Morrow was born in Etowah, TN to Harley and Julia Ann Brannan Marrow. He served in the United States Air Force and retired after 25 years of service. He was a proud World War II Veteran who loved his family and his country. After his military career, he worked security at the NASA Test Site. His favorite pastime was playing golf.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Clyde, Danny, Fred, Hubert, Leonard, and Lester Marrow; sister, Pearl Machen.
He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Bonitha Alice Morrow; children, Joann Anderson (Lee) of Duvall, WA, Julia Ann Cortinas (Ralph) of Somerset, TX, Rebecca DeFransca of CA, Darlene Hartje of Crescent City, CA, Judy Howland (Percy) of Ridgeland, MS, and Kenneth Renfroe, Jr. (Betsi) of Pearl, MS; brother, Jerry Marrow (Cynthia) of Maryville, TN; sister-in-law, Alice Marrow of Oakridge, TN; 15 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, and 8 great-great grandchildren, as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 24, 2013, at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 274 Beauvoir Road, Biloxi, at 1:30 p.m. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services. Burial will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Humane Society of South MS, www.hssm.org, or one's preferred charity.
