Mabel Ruby Pate, age 95 of Harahan, Louisiana passed away Thursday, May 30, 2013.
She was born in Woodland, Maine on August 18, 1917 to her mother, Florence Mabel Crocker, and father, Lyons Douglas Moode. She was a US Army veteran of World War II.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, MSgt. Cleos T. Pate, US Army, retired; and her sisters, Avis St. James and Beatrice Wark.
Mrs. Pate is survived by her brother-in-law, Frederick Earl Pate of Port Allen, LA; and a host of nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, June 1, 2013 at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 274 Beauvoir Road, Biloxi, where friends may visit one hour prior to the service. Interment in Biloxi National Cemetery will take place at a later date.
