Lynda Kay Hogue

Lynda Kay Hogue, age 77 of Saucier, passed away Saturday, December 6, 2025.

She was preceded in death by her husband, David Alan Hogue, Sr; parents, Harry and Mildred Hunt; and daughter, Tammy Elkins.

Lynda is survived by her sons, David Hogue, Jr. and Alan Edward Hogue (Stephanie); and her daughter, Penny Ashmun (Jessie); siblings, Beverly Carter (Larry), Sandy Thomas (Jim), and Harrietta Cherwinski; grandchildren, Kajun and Benny Hogue, Tiffany Hogue, Ronald Hogue, Brooklynn Elkins, Justin Kimmel, David Alan Hogue III, Daymian Hogue, Jessica Wilson, Ashleigh Hogue and Hades Hogue, Michael Hogue, Amanda Devereaux, and Lynda Devereaux; and great grandchildren, Westen and Benny Hogue, Hayden and Lucas Carroll.

She earned her high school diploma from Chesaning High School. However, Lynda's greatest achievements were in her roles as a devoted wife, a loving mother, and a wonderful grandmother and great grandmother. She found joy in spending time with her loved ones, cherishing the moments she shared with family and friends.

Mama was truly a great person, known for her giving nature, kindness, compassion, and empathy. She lived by the simple yet profound principle: "If you don't want it done to you then don't do it to others." This reflection of her character was evident in how she treated everyone around her.

Lynda Kay Hogue will be remembered not only for her accomplishments but for the warmth and love she brought into the lives of those fortunate enough to know her. Her spirit will continue to inspire and guide her family and friends in the days to come.
