Lynda Closson Allen

Lynda C. Allen age 67, a resident of Jackson County, Mississippi, passed away at Riverchase on March 19, 2023.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Edythe and Russell Closson; and her life partner, Tyner Mitchell.

Lynda is survived by her children, Cynthia Mathews, Christopher Mathews, Jonathon Mathews and Myranda Mathews; her brother, Dale Closson; and nine grandchildren, Russell Sterling, Kristalyn Mathews, Skylar Mathews, Kristina Mathews, Sabrina Mathews, Savannah Mathews, Coner Mathews, Jorja Mathews and Dakota Mathews; one great grandson, Spencer Mathews.

Lynda loved raising sweet birds for loving families and taking care of her own feathered and furry babies.

A special thank you to everyone who loved and honored her.  May she always be remembered for exactly who she was.

A Celebration of Life Memorial will be held on Saturday, March 25, 2023 at Martin's Lake off of Tucker Road at 10:00 a.m.
