Lydia A Buckles

Lydia A. Buckles, a loving homemaker, passed away peacefully on December 23, 2025, at the age of 76.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lee and Lillie Mae Sibley.

Lydia is survived by her daughter, Monica Bates; sisters, Nora Loyd and Mary Fife; and brother, Less Sibley.

Born on May 13, 1949, Lydia embodied an outgoing spirit that touched the lives of all who had the pleasure of knowing her. She was an avid collector of Elvis memorabilia and had a heart full of love for animals, treating every creature with compassion and kindness. 

Lydia's legacy is one of joy, passion, and an unwavering dedication to her loved ones. Those who were fortunate enough to know her will continue to remember her vibrant personality, the warmth of her smile, and the heartfelt stories. She will be greatly missed by all who had the honor of calling her a friend and family member.
