Luke Nicholas Burk

Luke Nicholas Burk, age 17, the beloved son of Roger and Cindy Burk, of Biloxi, passed away on August 21, 2014.
He was preceded in death by grandparents, Ruth and Anthony Dandrea, Sr., Sandra Burk, uncle Jim Burk, and a cousin Joshua Clark.
Survivors include his parents, Roger and Cindy Burk, Tanner (Katie) Burk, and Cody Burk, his grandfather, Royal (Cheryl) Burk, his aunts and uncles, Steve (Sharon) Burk, Larry (Theresa) Burk, John (Martha) Burk, Mike (Kim) Burk, Kathleen Smith, Mary Ann (Buddy) Bunnell, Danny (Laurie) Dandrea, Bobby (Cheryl) Dandrea, John Dandrea, and Diane (Darrell) Clark, and numerous cousins and friends.
Luke was an 11th grade student at Biloxi High School and he enjoyed playing golf with his dad and other family members. He also enjoyed working on his family's property and hiking in the mountains. Luke liked listening to music and riding roller coasters. He enjoyed being on the freshman football team at Biloxi High School where he wore #25, and also was a loyal Saints Football fan, and was in scouting for several years. He was a member of First United Methodist Church of Long Beach.
A visitation will be on Monday, August 25, 2014, from 4 - 6 pm at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 19130 Commission Road, Long Beach. A funeral service will be held at 6 pm in the funeral home chapel.
