Lugis O. Necaise, Jr, age 91, of White Cypress, passed away on June 16, 2026.
He was preceded in death by 2 sons, Dale Necaise and Stevie Necaise; his parents, Lugis O. Necaise, Sr. and Bertha Smith Necaise; 3 sisters, Yvonne Ladner, Lynell Ladner, and Elaine Prager; and a great-grandson, Dakota Necaise.
Mr. Necaise is survived by his loving wife of 72 years, Jean Necaise; 3 children, Susan Necaise, Cindy (Jody) Ladner, and Ray (Brittany Franke) Necaise; 3 daughters-in-law, Karen Necaise, Renee Necaise Malone, and Kristi Banks; 12 grandchildren, Tiffany (Roland) Cuevas, Tabby (Jesse) Bilbo, Tara (Jsutin) Byrd, Miranda (Steven) Smith, Randon (Lacee) Necaise, Dana (Tommy) Bennett, Alyson (Heath) Dubuisson, Shana Necaise (Kyle Prather), Matt (Nikki) Ladner, Madison (Justin) Anderson, Kirsten Necaise, and Dray Necaise; 25 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and a few “good ole friends.”
He was a native and lifelong resident of Hancock County currently living in the White Cypress Community. He attended Sellers School where he “walked barefoot uphill both ways” and he proudly served in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean War.
“Holding on to bad memories of the past robs one of a joyous and peaceful future. Rest easy ole man, we got it from here.”
The family will plan a private memorial service.
The Riemann Family Funeral Home, 9113 Kiln DeLisle Rd, Pass Christian, is serving the family.
